Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation (LVR)

This is probably the most effective way to treat a common problem women have, called vaginal relaxation. Many women say that “sex isn’t the same” or that they feel “loose” and have very little sensation, and this is due to a condition known as vaginal relaxation. Vaginal relaxation usually occurs as a women’s body experiences child birth and other natural aging processes, which can weaken or damage the muscles and ligaments surrounding her vagina. Symptoms of vaginal relaxation include, but are not limited to: stress urinary incontinence (SUI), loss of functional control, and decreased sexual gratification for both the woman and her partner. Laser vaginal rejuvenation is a one to two hour outpatient surgical procedure that restores vaginal tissues and increases the patient’s sensitivity and responsiveness to sexual stimulation. Unlike office procedures where a variety of modalities are used, this surgery is typically considered a “one and done” procedure rarely requiring repeat treatments.This procedure is performed under general anesthesia at an outpatient surgical facility, not under local anesthesia.

Designer Laser Vaginoplasty (DLV)

DLV is a group of cosmetic laser procedures which repairs, enhances, and beautifies the female genitalia. The most common DLV procedures are:

• Laser Reduction Labioplasty (reduction of the labia minora)
• Laser Perineoplasty to rebuild an aging or damaged perineum, augmentation of the labia majora
• Laser Hymenoplasty (reconstruction of the hymen)

Any of these cosmetic procedures can be performed alone or in combination with LVR. Additionally, this procedure is performed under general anesthesia at an outpatient surgical facility.
