What is DLV?

DLV is a group of cosmetic laser procedures that repairs, enhances, and beautifies the female genitalia. The most common vaginal rejuvenation procedures are:

What is Laser Labioplasty?

Laser Labioplasty is utilized for women who are unsatisfied with the appearance of their labia. Laser labioplasty can improve the appearance of an enlarged labia or labia with one side significantly larger than the other. A laser is used for this procedure as it facilitates more precise incisions and results in less blood loss. This procedure is performed in an outpatient facility under local anesthetic.

Laser labioplasty is considered a “designer” surgery as the aesthetic results are determined by Dr. Meaux during your consultation. Dr. Meaux will take the time to address patient needs and concerns during this consultation to ensure desired results are achieved.

Laser Labioplasty Recovery

This procedure offers a quicker recovery than LVR. Recovery time is approximately two weeks though sexual activity and clothing restrictions may be in place for six weeks or until the patient is completely healed.

Additional Concerns Addressed by Dr. Meaux

Some women have additional difficulty with clitoral stimulation due to excess skin around the area.  If so, additional procedures to reduce the skin can be undertaken at the time of surgery to “sculpt” the area to improve clitoral stimulation and desired procedural results.
